Election R&D Dialogues: Republican National Convention 2020 Recap
The Republican National Convention (RNC) is slated for August 24 through August 27 in Charlotte, North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida. Bob Shrum and Mike Murphy, co-directors of the Center for the Political Future, will cut through the news headlines to break down the important moments and share their November predictions.

The RNC is expected to formally renominate President Trump and Vice President Pence and “to celebrate together America’s greatness.” Convention delegates will vote on the GOP platform and various procedural motions. It will be one of the country’s first mass gatherings since the COVID-19 outbreak and a signal that President Trump is intent on returning the country to normalcy.
