Join Olympians Steve Johnson, Janet Evans, and Amy Rodriguez as they discuss their Olympic story and what role USC has played in their journey!

Hosted by Cynthia Cooper-Dyke, one of the world’s best-ever women’s basketball players, Cynthia starred at guard for the Women of Troy’s 1983 and 1984 NCAA championship teams. She then went on to win a gold medal at the 1988 Olympics and a bronze in 1992. She was with the two-time WNBA champion Houston Comets, where she was the WNBA MVP and the league's leading scorer. She then coached in the WNBA and in college, including at USC (2014-17).

At just 15 years old, she broke world records in the 400-, 800- and 1,500-meter freestyle. Evans won gold medals in all three of her races a year later at the Olympic Games Seoul 1988, while also setting a world-record time in the 400 freestyle. At the Barcelona 1992 Games, she defended her 800 freestyle title and earned a silver medal in the 400 freestyle. She broke seven world records in three events during her swimming career, and holds three of the longest-standing records in the sport for her 400, 800 and 1,500 times, which stood for 19, 21 and 20 years respectively. Currently, Evans is Chief Athlete Officer for the the LA 2028 Games. Steve Johnson (Men's Tennis ) Steve Johnson, one of America’s top-ranked tennis players, won a bronze medal in doubles at the 2016 Olympics with Jack Sock. USC won four consecutive (2009-10-11-12) NCAA team titles during his tenure and he was the NCAA singles champ in 2011 and 2012, ending his Trojan career with a 72-match winning streak. Amy Rodriguez (Women's Soccer ) Amy Rodriguez won a pair (2008-12) of Olympic gold medals with the U.S. women’s soccer team. She starred on USC’s 2007 NCAA championship team and scored 31 career goals (12 game winners) with 17 assists as a Trojan.
